On Saturday 27 June 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that a 67-year-old man died following a tractor crash in Remich that morning.

According to the police, the accident occurred at around 06:45 on Rue de Mondorf. Initial findings indicate that the driver lost control of the tractor after suffering a medical emergency.

The tractor subsequently collided with a car parked in a roadside parking space, struck a roadside bollard and crashed into a wall.

After arriving, the emergency services extricated the driver from the tractor's cab and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at the scene before transporting him to hospital by ambulance.

Police later confirmed that the 67-year-old man died in hospital despite resuscitation efforts.
