The Grand Ducal Police has reported that officers arrested a man following an altercation at a petrol station on Rue Denis Netgen in Schifflange on Wednesday 24 June 2026.
Police said it has received a report of an altercation involving several people at around midday, during which a man had apparently been injured.
A police patrol and emergency services attended the scene, where they found three people and a damaged vehicle.
According to police, one of the involved persons showed clear signs of alcohol consumption, behaved uncooperatively towards the officers and insulted them.
As the individual was disturbing public order and posed a danger to himself and others due to his condition, officers took him to hospital for examination before placing him under arrest. Police also filed a report for insulting public officials.
