The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Thursday 18 June 2026, a suspected burglar was arrested following a break-in involving a camper van in Diekirch.
According to the initial information, at around 03:20, a burglary was reported in a camper van on Um Ale Waasser in Diekirch, with a man allegedly entering the vehicle through the roof. A police patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene and located the suspect inside the camper.
Further investigations revealed that the individual could also be linked to another burglary at a premises and a break-in involving a vehicle.
Following consultation with the Public Prosecutor's Office, the suspect was arrested and was due to appear before an investigating judge later that afternoon.
