On Thursday 11 June 2026, the Grand Ducal Police published a new notice through its Fugitive Search Unit (FAST Luxembourg), seeking information on the whereabouts of Ildikó Bódi.
According to the police, Ildikó Bódi is wanted in connection with the unlawful removal of a child and repeated obstruction of court-ordered visitation and custody arrangements.
The authorities reported that, following a court decision granting the child's legal residence to the father, Ildikó Bódi disappeared with the child in December 2023. Since then, the father has reportedly been unable to exercise his parental rights and has had no contact with the child.
The Grand Ducal Police noted that both a European Arrest Warrant and an international arrest warrant have been issued for Ildikó Bódi. According to the latest information available to the authorities, she and the child are believed to currently be in Hungary.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact the police via the official channels indicated in the notice.
