On Thursday 11 June 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported several incidents including arrests linked to suspected drug dealing, burglary and a traffic altercation involving a handgun, as well as an assault over the past two days.

On Wednesday 10 June 2026, police arrested two suspected burglars after break ins at several detached houses in Op Harent, Bourscheid. A third suspected burglar was arrested the same day after allegedly breaking into a house in route d'Arlon in Strassen. Police also launched an investigation into a separate burglary in Troisvierges during the night of Wednesday to Thursday after a suspect escaped.

Also on Wednesday afternoon, a young man suffered injuries after two men known to him allegedly assaulted him in the backyard of a building in Route de Thionville in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie. Police have opened an investigation.

Another accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, where police arrested a suspected drug dealer in Rue de Strasbourg in Luxembourg-Gare after officers allegedly saw him discard a package of drugs. The suspect appeared before an investigating judge following his arrest.

Later that day, at around 17:20, police arrested a driver in Leudelange after reports of dangerous driving and an alleged traffic altercation in which he displayed a handgun. Officers stopped the vehicle shortly afterwards, seized the weapon and filed a report.
