Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Traffic Accident on B7

On Friday 15 May 2026, the Grand Ducal Police launched a call for witnesses following a collision between two vehicles on the B7 on the bridge near Ingeldorf crossing the Sûre Valley.

According to the initial information, at approximately 18:15 on Thursday 14 May 2026, police received a report concerning a vehicle which had allegedly lightly collided with an oncoming vehicle while overtaking on the B7 on the bridge. The driver of the vehicle then continued driving without attending to the resulting damage.

A short time later, the vehicle of the suspected driver involved in the accident was located further along the B7 near the bridge shortly before the Ettelbruck exit. However, the driver could not be located.

The police are appealing for witnesses to the circumstances of the accident and subsequent events, as well as for any information regarding the suspected driver and the vehicle involved, described as a red BMW.
