The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a woman was taken into custody following an incident at a bar in Bonnevoie on the evening of Saturday 9 May 2026.
According to police, the woman had caused a disturbance inside the establishment and was removed from the premises before officers arrived at the scene at around 22:00. The woman, who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol, continued shouting and repeatedly attempted to re-enter the bar.
Police stated that the woman posed a danger to herself and others and was therefore taken into custody. During the intervention, she allegedly resisted officers, behaved aggressively, slightly injured one police officer and issued threats.
Following a medical examination, the woman was declared fit for detention and placed in a holding cell.
In a separate incident on Saturday evening, police were also called to disputes involving several individuals in Bascharage. Three people involved in the altercation were subsequently taken into custody.
