The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal traffic accident occurred on the CR102 in Mamer on Saturday 4 April 2026.
At approximately 16:30, police were notified of a traffic accident on the CR102. According to initial information, a vehicle left the road for reasons not yet known, entered a roadside ditch and subsequently collided with a tree. The driver died at the scene.
The Public Prosecutor's Office has tasked the forensic police unit with investigating the cause of the accident. Investigations into the exact circumstances are ongoing.
The road was closed for the duration of the rescue and recovery operations.
