The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious workplace accident occurred in Luxembourg-Dommeldange on Monday 30 March 2026.
At approximately 09:40, police were notified of an accident at a construction site on Rue de la Station. According to initial reports, a worker was struck on the head by a metal object - part of a drilling machine used for very deep holes. He sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) was informed and attended the scene.
A report was filed at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
