The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Sunday 22 March 2026, two individuals were arrested following a burglary in Grevels (Canton Redange).
According to the initial information, police were alerted in the morning to a break-in at a barn, during which a water pipe was damaged. It was also reported that a person, who was completely soaked, was seen at a nearby bus stop. A police patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene, where two individuals were located.
Further investigations revealed that, in addition to the break-in, the suspects had also gained access to three vehicles parked outside and searched them for valuables.
Following consultation with the public prosecutor’s office, both individuals were arrested and brought before an investigating judge later that same day.
