On Monday 23 March 2026, the Grand Ducal Police launched a call for witnesses following a hit-and-run incident which occurred in Remerschen on Sunday 22 March 2026.
According to the initial information, at approximately 20:00 on Sunday a traffic collision occurred on the N10 in Remerschen, where a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
The police said the vehicle, which left the scene, may have been a dark-coloured Volkswagen.
The driver involved, as well as any witnesses who have relevant information relating to the incident, are advised to contact the Remich/Mondorf police station on tel: 244 77 1000 or via email: police.remichmondorf@police.etat.lu.
