On Tuesday 10 February 2026, the Grand Ducal Police issued a warning in relation to fake calls received via messaging platforms which appear to originate from the police.
The Grand Ducal Police reiterated that they do not make calls through such services and advise recipients not to answer and to block the caller.
They added one should check the caller ID or number before answering a call and, if in doubt, contact the emergency number 113.
