The Grand Ducal Police have reported several incidents and arrests carried out on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 February 2026, relating to disorderly conduct, property damage, drug offences and driving under the influence.
According to initial information, on Thursday evening, officers were called to a licensed premises in Niederfeulen following reports of an agitated man who was present despite a ban from the establishment, acted aggressively towards customers and refused to leave. During police intervention, the man behaved uncooperatively and caused damage, including to a police vehicle. Due to his intoxicated state, he was taken to a police station after a medical examination and initially placed in custody. The Public Prosecutor’s Office was informed and ordered the man’s arrest, as well as the drafting of a report for disorderly conduct. He is due to be brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Friday 6 February 2026.
According to initial information, in a separate incident during Friday night, a police patrol stopped a vehicle travelling from Boulaide between Boulaide and Arsdorf. Officers detected the smell of cannabis and decided to search both occupants and the vehicle. During the checks, drugs were found on one of the individuals, while a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered additional drugs and cash.
On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, both occupants were arrested and later brought before an investigating judge later that day. Drugs, cash and mobile phones were seized. As a roadside drug test returned positive, a report was also filed for driving under the influence of drugs and the vehicle was seized.
