Later that same evening, at approximately 22:40, a police patrol detected a vehicle travelling at excessive speed on the A1 motorway. Near the Howald Tunnel, the driver was clocked at 174 km/h in a zone limited to 90 km/h. Officers stopped the vehicle shortly afterwards and confiscated the driver’s licence.
During the night into Thursday, police officers on patrol on the A13 motorway towards Pétange, near the Sanem slip road, noticed another vehicle travelling at excessive speed. The officers caught up with the car at the Biff roundabout; however, the driver continued driving despite clear instructions to stop. She was eventually intercepted a short time later.
