Grand Ducal Police conduct checks at the capital’s railway station;

The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on the morning of Wednesday 10 December 2025, it conducted a large-scale operation at the capital’s railway station.
According to the initial report, the checks were undertaken in cooperation with the Customs Administration and took between the hours of 06:00 to 09:00. The focus was on drug and immigration legislation, regulations for rail travel and to reinforce the general police presence on public transport. Checks were carried out on the platforms as well as inside and outside the station.
During the operation, stolen goods were seized from two individuals. They were arrested on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. It also emerged that they were staying illegally in the Grand Duchy. A report was drawn up.
In addition, a report was filed in one case for a breach of drug legislation.
