The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a "major operation" took place in Keispelt on Wednesday 26 November 2025.
In the late afternoon, police received a missing person report, prompting officers to go to Rue de Meispelt in Keispelt. Upon arrival, they discovered several weapons and ammunition in a detached house. The officers established a security perimeter, and the special operations unit was called to the scene. For safety reasons, several neighbouring houses were evacuated.
Around 21:30, the evacuated residents were able to return to their homes. The missing person was eventually located at the scene.
Police indicated that they did not believe there was a risk to public safety, although the security perimeter remained in place until all suspicious items had been secured.
