The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man was arrested in Mersch on Tuesday 25 November 2025, on suspicion of theft from a vehicle.
According to the police, during the early hours of Tuesday 25 November a man was reported on Rue de Pettingen in Mersch attempting to open car doors.
A police patrol located the suspect shortly afterwards. The man behaved uncooperatively towards the officers and stolen goods were found in his possession, which were subsequently seized.
A report was filed and he was taken into detention.
