Around 07:20 on Tuesday 25 November 2025, the Grand Ducal Police reported that suspected burglars were on the run in the Angelsberg area (Mersch).
Following an attempted burglary in the area, two to three people wearing jogging pants were reported to be on the run. A search is currently underway.
The police warned the public not to pick up hitchhikers and asked them to immediately report any suspicious individuals to the emergency number 113.
