Police Report Multiple Burglaries Across Weekend, Three Arrests Made

On Monday 10 November 2025, the Grand Ducal Police announced that multiple burglaries were reported across Luxembourg on Saturday 8 to Sunday 9 November.

According to the police, on the evening of Saturday 8 November 2025, the apartment of a multi-family residential building in Luxembourg-Hollerich was broken into. According to initial information, unknown perpetrators gained access to the inside, searched the flat and stole, among other things, cash. A police search was immediately launched and proved successful. Three suspects were apprehended and a report was drawn up.

Additionally, another burglary was reported in the early hours of Sunday 9 November 2025 at a residence on Route de Luxembourg in Lorentzweiler, where, according to initial information, an as yet unidentified person gained access to the premises via a cellar window and stole a mobile phone and a wristwatch. An investigation has been opened.
