The Grand Ducal Police have reported several recent cases of theft from vehicles in the country.
One such incident occurred on the evening of Sunday 21 September 2025 on Avenue de la Gare in Esch-sur-Alzette, where a perpetrator reportedly gained access to a vehicle and stole two pairs of sunglasses and a wallet.
Another incident was reported at around 02:00 on Monday 22 September 2025 on Op der Strooss in Asselborn. According to initial reports, a perpetrator removed a window to enter the vehicle and, despite the activation of the alarm system, managed to steal an iPad before fleeing. A police search proved unsuccessful.
Investigations have been launched in both cases.
