The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a motorcyclist died in a road accident in northern Luxembourg at the weekend.
The fatal traffic accident occurred on the CR320 between Hoscheid and Unterschlinder at around 18:00 on Saturday 20 September 2025.
According to preliminary information, the 24-year-old Luxembourg-Belgian citizen's motorcycle came off the road in a long left-hand bend, going into a ditch and subsequently crashing into a tree.
Despite resuscitation attempts, the man was declared dead at the scene.
The public prosecutor's office tasked the forensic police and criminal investigation department with investigating the cause of the accident and ordered an autopsy.
The road was closed to traffic until the accident scene was cleared.
