The Grand Ducal Police have reported that five people have died as a result of a serious traffic accident on the N15.
According to initial information, on Monday 1 September 2025, at approximately 18:10, a car and a delivery van collided head-on on the N15 between Feulen and Heiderscheid. Both vehicles immediately caught fire and burned out completely. Initial investigations at the site of the accident confirmed that the five occupants of the vehicles had died at the scene.
The police informed the public prosecutor’s office which instructed the Measurement and Detection Service to investigate the cause of the accident.
Rescue teams closed the road for the duration of their work.
