On Saturday 30 August 2025, police received a report shortly after 06:00 in the morning of an altercation between several individuals near a venue in Esch-Belval.
According to initial information, officers encountered a man with two stab wounds to the upper body. He was immediately taken to hospital for treatment.
During the course of subsequent investigations, strong suspicion fell on one of the individuals present at the scene of the reported altercation. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the woman was arrested on Saturday and brought before an investigating judge on Sunday 31 August 2025.
