Police Appeal for Witnesses After Pétange Robbery

The Grand Ducal Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a recent robbery in Pétange.

At around 11:00 on Friday 25 July 2025, a robbery occurred on the footpath near the "Kuerbuttek" area in Pétange, not far from the Centre Sportif Bim Diederich. According to police reports, two male suspects, believed to be between eighteen and 25 years old, threatened the victim with a baton and a knife. They stole the victim's wristwatch before fleeing in different directions - one of the perpetrators fled toward the "Op der Millen / Wax" roundabout and the other in the direction of the sports hall.

According to the victim, shortly before the robbery, a man had walked past him with a dog and two individuals had cycled past.
