On Friday 18 July 2025, Luxembourg’s Council of Government held a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Luc Frieden.
At the meeting, the Government Council approved the dates for the 2025/26 winter and 2026 summer sales periods:
- Winter sales will run from Friday 2 January 2026 to Saturday 31 January 2026 (inclusive);
- Summer sales will take place from Wednesday 24 June 2026 to Sunday 19 July 2026 (inclusive).
According to Luxembourg's Ministry of State, these nationwide sale periods were set by Grand Ducal regulation.
