The Grand Ducal Police reported a suspected burglary at two establishments on Place de la Libération in Diekirch on the morning of Monday 14 July 2025.
In a statement, the police noted that several windows had been broken during the incident. Multiple police units were deployed to the scene, where they apprehended one suspect. Three other individuals were identified as suspects and located during a subsequent search operation.
One of the suspects was found in possession of a significant quantity of narcotics. He was arrested on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Tuesday 15 July 2025.
