The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident took place on the A3 on the morning of Tuesday 15 July 2025.
According to the police, at approximately 06:20 an accident involving a motorcycle and a car occurred on the A3, near the French border, in the direction of Luxembourg City.
Despite receiving emergency medical attention, the 37-year-old motorcyclist from France was pronounced dead at the scene.
The public prosecutor's office was informed and commissioned the forensics unit to attend the scene and investigate the accident.
During the rescue operation, two lanes were closed and traffic was diverted via the Zouftgen border post.
