The Grand Ducal Police have announced that the first edition of "Op e Kaffi mat der Police" ("Coffee with the Police") will take place on Thursday 3 July 2025 at the Bloom Specialty Coffee Shop (101 Rue Adolphe Fischer) in Luxembourg-Gare, from 16:00 to 18:00.

Residents of the neighbourhood will have the opportunity to speak with police officers in a "more convivial and less formal" setting than in a police station.

This new pilot project, specifically targeting the Luxembourg-Gare district, aims to create a space for open discussion, promote dialogue between residents and the police, and facilitate constructive discussions on issues related to public safety.

Over coffee, visitors can share their concerns about the Gare district, as well as their needs and expectations. In turn, police officers will have the opportunity to share their experiences, explain their work and offer advice. Feedback from residents may also help the police anticipate certain problems, identify new areas for action and adapt local measures accordingly.

Meetings will be held monthly at local cafés in the area. Depending on current events and local issues, some sessions may focus on specific topics. No advance registration is required.

The police noted that these meetings are not intended for filing complaints or handling individual cases. For formal complaints, residents are advised to contact a police station of their choice.
