The Grand Ducal Police have reported that several burglaries and attempted burglaries took place in Luxembourg on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 June 2025.
One such incident took place on Rue d'Anvers in Luxembourg-Gare at around 23:00 on Tuesday. According to initial reports, unknown perpetrators gained access to an apartment, rummaged through several rooms and stole a laptop, among other items.
At around 05:00 on Wednesday, the police were notified of an attempted burglary in a single-family home on Rue de la Victoire in Strassen. According to initial reports, the perpetrators attempted to gain access through the patio door, but were unsuccessful. They then fled the scene.
The authorities have launched investigations in both cases.
