On Thursday 22 May 2025, the Marshal of the Grand Ducal Court announced that Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg is pregnant with her second child.
According to the official statement, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg "are delighted to announce that Princess Alexandra and Mr Nicolas Bagory are expecting their second child". The baby's birth is expected in autumn 2025.
The statement concluded that "the Grand Duke, the Grand Duchess and members of both families share in the joy of their children".
Born on 16 February 1991, Princess Alexandra is the fourth child and only daughter of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. She married Nicolas Bagory in a civil ceremony in Luxembourg City on 22 April 2023, before celebrating their marriage in a religious ceremony at Saint Trophyme Church in Bormes-les-Mimosas, France, one week later, on 29 April 2023.
Princess Alexandra gave birth to their first child, a baby girl named Victoire, on 14 May 2024.
