On Thursday 8 May 2025, Banque Raiffeisen, in partnership with the APEMH Foundation (Association of Parents of Mentally Handicapped Children), inaugurated the new Raiffeisen Labyrinth playground at Parc Merveilleux in Bettembourg.
According to Banque Raiffeisen, the new playground reflects its social and environmental commitment to serving all generations.
The newly inaugurated facility is described as a wooden structure intended to "encourage exploration and fun for children, even toddlers." Constructed entirely from natural materials, it includes "interactive, sensory and balance games," along with accessories shaped like tractors and animals. The structure is presented as "environmentally friendly, aesthetically pleasing and safe," and is designed to integrate harmoniously into the forested setting of the park.
According to Banque Raiffeisen, located just 25 metres from the new "Raiffeisen Labyrinth", "Raiffeisen Haff" has been a popular family attraction since 2018, designed as a small, fun farm. Accessible to children of all ages, this playground near the mini-zoo brings the world of farming to life with interactive features in a natural and educational setting.
This second attraction, the "Raiffeisen Labyrinth", is the result of a "close and constructive partnership" between the Bank and APEMH Foundation.
"With the 'Raiffeisen Labyrinth', we want to offer children a fun, interactive and nature-friendly place to play. By allowing them to have fun while discovering the world around them, we hope to spark their curiosity and raise their awareness of the importance of nature and its preservation from an early age," said Chairman of the Management Board at Banque Raiffeisen, Laurent Zahles.
