The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they detected 94 road traffic violations, following a large-scale traffic control on the A3 toward Luxembourg City, near Dudelange. 

From 07:00 to 11:00 on Tuesday 29 April 2025, 40 drivers received fines of €250 and four penalty points for using a mobile phone while driving.

In addition, fifteen drivers received fines for ignoring a road sign and eight drivers were issued fines for failing to present the required vehicle registration documents.

Officers issued nine fines for improper vehicle equipment or defects, particularly those related to the exhaust system, tyres, lights and licence plate.

The police also issued seventeen warnings to drivers for using their hazard lights under improper conditions or circumstances.

Moreover, the police reported that one driver was issued a fine as a result of driving without a valid licence.
