
The Grand Ducal Police have reported the arrest of three individuals following three separate robberies in Wilerwiltz, Fentange and Luxembourg-Bonnevoie.
On Sunday 12 April 2025, a teenager was mugged at knife-point in Wilwerwiltz during the late evening, when two men stole their mobile phone.
The police identified a suspect and, following a house search, discovered the stolen phone and an illegally held knife. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the police arrested the man and brought him before a judge on the afternoon of Monday 14 April 2025.
The second incident happened around midday on Sunday 13 April 2025, when the police received reports of the theft of cash from a vehicle in Fentange. Following an investigation, they identified a suspect, from whom two crowbars were confiscated. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the police arrested the man and brought him before a judge on the morning of Monday 14 April 2025.
The third incident happened in the early hours of Monday 14 April 2025, when a burglary was reported at a house in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie. According to initial information, a perpetrator broke a window to gain entry but was surprised by a resident and fled. The police immediately initiated a manhunt and identified a suspect, from whom stolen property was recovered. The suspect was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and appeared before a judge on the afternoon of Monday 14 April 2025.
