Early on Wednesday morning, the police received reports of a man attempting to gain access to a single-family home in Parc Rothweit in Alzingen. A police patrol found the suspect on Route de Thionville during a subsequent manhunt. The police searched the man and confiscated pepper spray and possible stolen property. The public prosecutor's office was informed and ordered the suspect's arrest. On Wednesday afternoon, he was brought before an investigating judge who issued an arrest warrant.

In a separate incident on Wednesday, the police arrested a suspected drug dealer in the Luxembourg-Gare district. That afternoon, a police patrol at the intersection of Rue de Hollerich and Rue de la Fonderie noticed a man who quickly walked away when he saw the officers. Suspecting that he might be a possible drug dealer, the officers chased and stopped him near Rue de Hollerich. During a search, the officers observed suspicious swallowing movements. The public prosecutor's office was informed and ordered a body scan, which came back positive. The suspect was subsequently arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Thursday 10 April 2025.

Later on Wednesday evening, the police received reports of a man who had sustained a head injury (cut) on Avenue John F. Kennedy in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. A police patrol immediately went to the scene and found the victim. He was taken to hospital after receiving first aid on-site. According to initial information, two people stole the victim's backpack. When the man noticed, he tried to confront the perpetrators, who then attacked him. The police apprehended the two suspects during a manhunt. They also recovered the suspected weapon and the stolen backpack from one of the suspects. The latter was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office and is set to appear before an investigating judge on Thursday afternoon.
