The Grand Ducal Police have reported that police officers arrested a suspected drug dealer in the Luxembourg-Gare district on Tuesday 8 April 2025.
On Tuesday afternoon, police officers in the capital's train station district became aware of a man suspected of being a drug dealer.
A handover between this man and a buyer was later observed on a bus heading towards Luxembourg-Ville (city centre). The police subsequently arrested the suspect. At the request of the public prosecutor's office, he was subjected to a scanner examination, which revealed several foreign objects in his body.
Based on the available information and the suspicion of drug sales, the public prosecutor's office ordered the arrest of the suspect, who was brought before an investigating judge the following day.
