The Grand Ducal Police have launched a call for witnesses in relation to a fatal road accident that occurred on Sunday 6 April 2025.
The police had previously reported that a 22-year-old women died in hospital after suffering serious injuries in a collision between a car and a delivery van on the N31 on Sunday morning.
The crash took place between Bascharage and Pétange at around 08:30 on Sunday, when a car driver lost control of his vehicle and collided with an oncoming van in the opposite lane. The three people involved in the crash suffered "serious to life-threatening" injuries, and the woman (who had been in the van) later passed away.
An investigation is ongoing, with the police now seeking witnesses to the accident. Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact the Differdange police station via tel.: 244-531000 or via email: police.differdange@police.etat.lu.
