The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident occurred in Luxembourg-Rollingergrund on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred on Rue de Kopstal at approximately 12:40 on Thursday 3 April 2025. According to initial reports, the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle while cornering and crashed.
The nineteen-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene despite receiving emergency medical treatment. The public prosecutor's office was informed and commissioned the relevant police department to conduct an accident investigation.
The road was closed to traffic for the duration of the rescue operation.
