Man Arrested After Violating Eviction Order Linked to Domestic Violence

The Grand Ducal Police have reported that officers arrested a man who broke into a victim's home in Luxembourg-Kirchberg after a domestic violence eviction order in the early hours of Friday 28 March 2025.

Police officers were dispatched to a residential address in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Friday. The reported reason was that a man, who was subject to a restraining/eviction order, had illegally gained access to the victim's home, contrary to the public prosecutor's referral order. He had been evicted the previous day in relation to domestic violence.

The public prosecutor's office was informed and ordered the arrest of the suspect. The man was expected to be brought before an investigating judge on Friday afternoon.
