The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a road accident involving two police officers on motorcycles took place in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Friday morning.
The accident took place near the Kinepolis Kirchberg cinema on Avenue John F. Kennedy at around 10:45 on Friday. The two police officers suffered minor injuries.
The accident occurred during the police escort of the Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, on the occasion of his state visit to Luxembourg.
The street was closed for the duration of the cleanup operation.
