The Grand Ducal Police have launched a call for witnesses following a road accident that took place in Diekirch on Friday morning.
Around 05:50 on Friday 14 March 2025, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a crossing on Rue de l'Industrie in Diekirch, near a car repair shop (at the intersection with Route d'Ettelbruck).
According to initial information, the collision occurred as the pedestrian was crossing the street. The driver then continued toward Ingeldorf without stopping to check on the slightly injured victim.
The vehicle is said to have been a grey/black sedan.
The police have urged the driver involved in the accident or any witnesses with information about the circumstances of the accident to contact the Diekirch/Vianden police station via tel.: 24480-1000 or via email: police.diekirchvianden@police.etat.lu.
