POST Luxembourg has announced that, on Tuesday 11 March 2025, it will issue eight new special stamps.
The news stamps are in honour of the 50th anniversary of the inaugural flight of the hot air balloon "Feierwôn", the 25th anniversary of "Een Häerz fir kriibskrank Kanner", the 30th anniversary of the "Patiente Vertriedung", the 50th anniversary of the "Œuvre Vie Naissante", the 400th anniversary of the "Oktav", the 150th anniversary of the municipality of Mertzig, the 25th anniversary of the "Corps de Police Grand-Ducale" and the 15th anniversary of the "Policemusée".
Dedicated exclusively to this new stamp issue, the Philatelux publication of March 2025 lists the different stamps and provides information on their respective characteristics and motifs.
The new special stamps are available from 11 March 2025 in the POST Philately online shop - www.postphilately.lu, at the Philatelic Counter (13 rue Robert Stumper, Cloche d'Or) as well as in all POST Spaces and post offices.
