The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident occurred on the RN24 between Huttange and Noerdange on Tuesday 11 February 2025.
The police received reports of the accident at around 04:45 on Tuesday morning.
For reasons that are still unclear, a delivery van came off the road and crashed into a tree on the right side of the road. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man from western Luxembourg, died at the scene of the accident.
The public prosecutor's office ordered an accident investigation and an accident report has been drawn up. The road remains closed to traffic until further notice.
