The Grand Ducal Police have appealed for witnesses after reports of a man having jumped into the Alzette river in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal.
At around 19:20 on Sunday 26 January 2025, there were reports of a man who may have jumped into the water near Rue du Pont in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal. The police and emergency services immediately went to the scene and initiated a search. However, this has so far proven unsuccessful.
On Friday 31 January 2025, the police launched an appeal for witnesses who may have observed the incident or have information about the person's well-being.
The reported man is said to have been wearing a red hoodie and white shoes at the time of the incident.
According to the information available, another man was also on-site and called out to him. This man is said to have been wearing a brown jacket.
