The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man suffered serious injuries in a stabbing incident in Luxembourg-Ville on Sunday evening.
At around 17:45 on Sunday 26 January 2025, the police received reports of a man who, according to initial information, had been stabbed near the Hamilius tram stop.
A police patrol went to the scene and provided first aid until the emergency services arrived. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries after receiving initial treatment on-site.
An immediate search for the perpetrator was unsuccessful. Investigations have been initiated. A report was drawn up on the orders of the public prosecutor's office.
