On Tuesday 21 January 2025, the Grand Ducal Police launched an appeal for witnesses in relation to a recent road accident on the A4 in Luxembourg.
At around 23:30 on Saturday 18 January 2025, an accident occurred on the A4 motorway from Esch-sur-Alzette towards France involving three vehicles: two cars and a Luxembourg Roads Administration security vehicle. According to initial information, the person who caused the accident fled the scene. The getaway vehicle may have been a dark-coloured Jeep with Luxembourg licence plates.
The driver involved in the accident, as well as anyone who witnessed the accident and/or has other useful information, is asked to contact the traffic police unit via tel.: 244-175200 or via emai: upr.sia@police.etat.lu.
