Flood Warning Issued for Southern Luxembourg on Saturday

Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, and the Water Management Authority (AGE) have issued a flood warning alert for the south of the country on Saturday 11 January 2025.

This orange alert ("danger") will be in place across southern Luxembourg from 00:00 (midnight) to 20:00 on Saturday.

During this time, minor flooding and local damage is possible. The authorities urged "special vigilance in the case of seasonal and/or exposed activities".

In addition, a yellow alert for flooding will be in place in southern Luxembourg from 20:00 on Saturday until 07:00 on Sunday 12 January 2025.
