Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, has extended its yellow weather warning ("potential danger").
This alert remains in place for strong winds across the country from 11:00 to 19:00 on Tuesday 19 November 2024. Wind gusts of between 65 and 80 km/h (up to 85 km/h in some places when the cold front passes) are expected throughout the day.
In addition, a flood warning has been put in place for southern Luxembourg, from 16:00 on Tuesday until 10:00 on Wednesday 20 November 2024. In light of this risk of flooding, the authorities have asked the public to be vigilant. More information on potential flooding is available at https://www.inondations.lu/alerts
