The Grand Ducal Police have reported that an arrest took place following a pursuit between Foetz and Steinbrücken on the afternoon of Friday 4 October 2024.
On Friday afternoon, a driver reportedly attempted to evade a traffic check the police were conducting in Foetz. Several patrols pursued the vehicle, leading to a chase between Foetz and Steinbrücken.
During the pursuit, four vehicles were damaged, including two police cars. One police officer was taken to the hospital for a precautionary check-up. The police eventually apprehended the fleeing driver, who was found to be without a valid driver's licence. The arrest was carried out on the order of the public prosecutor's office.
