The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious work accident occurred in Grass, near the Belgian border, on Thursday 27 June 2024.
The accident took place on Rue Dr Elvire Engel in Grass on Thursday afternoon, during which a worker was hit by a collapsing concrete staircase.
Despite emergency medical treatment on-site, the 45-year-old man died at the scene of the accident.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) and the criminal investigation police went to the scene of the accident to clarify the exact circumstances.
