The Grand Ducal Police has confirmed that an altercation occurred between two people on the evening of Saturday 20 January 2024 on Avenue de la Gare in Luxembourg-Gare.
Two individuals were found fighting at around 18:00 on Saturday in Luxembourg-Gare. According to initial information, one of them previously committed theft in a store and then tried to escape. When employees prevented him from doing so, he hit one of them with a glass bottle. The suspected shoplifter was caught on the spot by police officers.
He was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor and brought before an examining judge the following morning.
